A Peek Into Kelly Hoang Bui – Moxie Kids Photography Whimsical and Creative Editorial

My fun collaboration between Moxie Kids Photography and Stacy of Modern Queen Kids for an editorial shoot of their Fall 2015 line for promotional marketing (social media & website). Modern Queen Kids is a jewelry company based in Santa Barbara, CA that creates whimsical hand-made costume jewelry for today's modern girl.

I shot the collection in Houston, TX at the courtyard of a new location of Gallery Furniture with an ivy wall as the backdrop. I wanted to create a theatrical set with a fun, vintage feel to highlight the dreamy jewelry we were featuring. I made hand-sewn ice blue drapes adorned with gold trim and used vintage LV trunks and cases to add to the classic ambience. We even had a mini Yorkie dog with pink dyed fur to add just a touch of edge.

This was a big production for me and I'm so thankful to have had amazing people to help. The clothes were provided by Wovenplay, a company based out of New York City, hair and make-up were done by the Porcelain Teacup team and Janelle Cook (their 40s inspired hairstyles were beautiful but playful with a modern twist).
